Recipe: Baked Kale Chips

  • 1 bunch of fresh kale
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of flaked sea salt

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Carefully detach the kale leaves from the thick stems using a knife or kitchen shears. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Wash the kale thoroughly and dry it using a salad spinner.
  4. Drizzle the kale leaves with olive oil, tossing them to ensure even coating. Spread the kale out in a single layer on the baking sheet, making sure not to overlap, and then sprinkle with the sea salt.
  5. Bake the kale in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes, until the edges become slightly browned but not burnt.
  6. Once done, remove the baked kale chips from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  7. Enjoy your delicious and crispy homemade baked kale chips!

(Note: You can customize the flavor by adding other seasonings like garlic powder or nutritional yeast before baking.)
